Starting your journey with Niche Therapy SLP services
Before starting speech and language intervention services with Niche Therapy, families participate in a complimentary consultation. At this consultation you will meet your provider, discuss motivation for seeking Niche SLP services and review next steps before starting intervention. This consultation provides you the with opportunity to discuss preferred goals, areas of concern/barriers, and discuss previous testing, diagnosis, or intervention. After your consultation your provider will create a customized therapy plan to fit your Niche.

Therapeutic Relationship
Above all else, we at Niche Therapy believe the therapeutic relationship is the foundation of intervention. We aim to build a trusting, respectful, creative connection with clients and their support systems. Our goals is to transfer knowledge and skills to clients and their families, building long-lasting change and independence.
Education and Training
At Niche Therapy we strive to stay up to date on continuing education relevant to our client base. This is one of the many benefits of using a small practice for intervention. Think of your clinician as your personal research assistant. Heard about a new style of intervention? Let us know. We will investigate with a professional and critical eye delivering an easy to understand synopsis.
Our goal is to impact the entire client ecosystem; this means connecting with clients, families, and communities. We want to involve client support networks in the intervention process through consultation, progress reports, and family training. No one functions in a vacuum so intervention should not either.
Customized Niche Plans
At Niche Therapy we are committed to honoring each client as an individual through customized intervention plans. We call these Niche Plans. Everyone needs different levels of support based on medical necessity, diagnoses, personal commitments, and current goals. Niche Plans optimize appointment length, targeted goals, and treatment duration to fit your lifestyle.
Areas of Practice
Niche Therapy currently offers intervention with a Speech and Language Pathologist (SLP) for oral language disorders (receptive and/or expressive), written language disorders (receptive and/or expressive), dyslexia, reading comprehension, written expression, phonological disorders, language disorders related to Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), and speech sound disorders. This list is constantly changing. Alicia has experience working with clients ranging from preschool to college and beyond.
